Nebraska Interview Consortium (NIC)

Registration Process

You are eligible to register with NIC for employment if you are an undergraduate or alumnus of Wayne State College.

Registration in Monstertrak permits you to participate in four basic services:

• On-campus interviewing/Nebraska Interview Consortium
• Resume referral
• Online job searches
• Job search tips

Before beginning, review the Ethics Document regarding the Rights and Responsibilities of participating in the Nebraska Interview Consortium

FYI: Monstertrak.com houses the Nebraska Interview Consortium (NIC).

Steps to Register with Nebraska Interview Consortium (NIC):

1. Log in to www.monstertrak.com
2. Above the green "Sign Up!" button, select Nebraska and Nebraska Interview Consortium (DO NOT select Wayne State College). Click on "Sign Up."
3. Enter your email address in both boxes. Click the "Submit" button.
   
   NOTE: To highlight more than one section, hold the CTRL key down, then click on your desired selections.
   
4. The Contact Information screen appears. Read all information and complete ALL the fields that apply to you. Click the "Continue" button.
5. Answer the E-mail Preferences questions. Click the "Continue" button.
6. The Educational Information page appears. Complete as many fields as possible
   


• If you have a MINOR, under Additional Degrees, select Bachelor's Degree, then in Major 2, highlight your minor. You may not find your exact program, select one that closely matches your minor.
  
  
• Under the Educational Information Page, for the Career Center Services Desired, hold the Control key and click to highlight Internships, Job Vacancies, On-Campus Recruiting, and Resume Referral.
  
  
7. Click the "Continue" button.
8. The Employment Preferences page appears. Complete as many fields as possible. Remember to hold the Control key to select more than one parameter.
9. Click the "Continue" button.
10. Demographic Information page appears. Complete the fields.
11. Click the "Continue" button.
12. Login Information page appears. The user name and password that you establish will be used from now on to log into Monstertrak/Nebraska Interview Consortium. Remember your password!
13. Click the "Continue" button.

Once you have completed this registration process, you do NOT need to submit a new one. Simply access your information and update that profile.

After you have completed through Step 13, contact WSC Career Services to review your profile and assist you with loading your resume. Before you can view the list of employers through the NIC, a Career Services staff member must make your password eligible.
