2006-07: Named All-NSIC honorable mention after averaging 10.2 points and team-high 7.7 rebounds per game...had seven double-doubles to rank third-most in NSIC....ranked third in the NSIC in field goal percentage (.529), fourth in rebounds (7.7), fifth in steals (1.59), 10th in blocked shots (0.79) and was second in defensive rebounds (5.79)...scored career-high 19 points vs. Mount Mercy College on 12-17-06....played career-high 36 minutes at Univ. of Mary on 12-9-06.

2005-06: Had stellar freshman season with Wildcats, playing in all 31 games. Averaged 5.7 points and 4.2 rebounds per game, shooting 54.9 percent from the field aand 76.4 percent from the free throw line. Scored season-high 12 points three times, vs. Upper Iowa on 1-24-06, vs. Minn.-Crookston on 3-1-06 and vs. Northern State on 3-5-06 in championship game of NSIC Red Baron Women's BB Classic in Wayne. Made game-winning shot vs. Northern State on 1-6-06. Named to the NSIC Red Baron Women's Basketball Classic All-Tournament Team. Grabbed season-high 11 rebounds vs. Mount Mercy College on 12-11-05.

High School: Kylee was a three sport standout at Little River HS in Kansas, starring in basketball, volleyball and track. She averaged 17 points and 11 rebounds per game during her senior season. She was a Class 1A First Team All-State selection all four seasons in basketball. In volleyball, she was the Kansas 1A Volleyball Player of the Year as a junior and senior and was a four-time All-State selection.

Wayne State has earned the #3 seed for the NCAA Div. II Central Regional Baseball Tournament hosted by Emporia State in Kansas. The 40-11 Wildcats meet #4 seed Central Missouri (41-15) in Thursday's first round with game times to be announced Monday afternoon.


Concordia-St. Paul topped #15 Wayne State 10-6 Sunday afternoon in the NSIC Baseball Tournament championship game. The 40-11 Wildcats await word from the NCAA on a at-large berth to the NCAA Tournament. Official pairings are to be released Sunday evening by the NCAA.


Nate Preston won three events to lead the WSC men to a third straight NSIC outdoor track and field championship Saturday in Wayne. The Wildcats scored 164 points to nip second place Mary (156.5) for the team title. Brett Suckstorf won two events (hammer throw and discus) for WSC.


The WSC women's track and field team finished in third place with 106 points at the NSIC Championships in Wayne. Katie Wilson won two events (hammer throw and discus) and took second in the shot put to lead the Wildcats.


The NSIC Office announced Saturday that the NSIC Baseball Tournament has been shortened to a single-elimination tournament with Wayne State and Concordia-St. Paul (the last two undefeated teams in the tournament) playing Sunday at 1 p.m. in Wayne and the winner earning the NSIC Tournament Title and the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.


Nick Schumacher struck out a career-high 14 batters in a complete game win to lead #15 Wayne State to a 9-1 victory over Southwest Minnesota State at the NSIC Baseball Tournament in Wayne. The 40-10 Wildcats will play in the winner's bracket final Saturday at 10 a.m. against either Bemidji State or Concordia-St. Paul.


Seven WSC baseball players were named to the 2008 NSIC All-Conference Baseball Team announced Thursday afternoon. Nick Schumacher was named the NSIC Pitcher of the Year, Marc Manganaro earned the NSIC Co-Player of the Year while Nick Bidroski was selected the NSIC Co-Freshmen of the Year.
