Year for guiding the Wildcats to team titles in the indoor
and outdoor seasons and he was selected a finalist for the
Omaha World Herald's Midlands Men's College Coach of the Year.
Brink guided the Wildcat women's indoor and outdoor track
teams to second place finishes during the 2005 season at the
NSIC Championships, the highest finishes for the Wayne State
women since joining the Northern Sun Conference. The WSC men
placed fourth at both indoor and outdoor championships. He
had two NCAA National qualifiers in both the indoor and outdoor

of existence and quickly turned them into one of the top teams
in the South Dakota Intercollegiate Conference. He has coached
34 SDIC individual conference champions, 16 NAIA Scholar-Athlete
award winners and 9 NAIA All-Americans. In addition, 72 school
records have been set or broken during Brink's tenure.

National Championships. On the men's side, the cross country
