Pat Monaghan begins his first season as a graduate assistant
coach at Wayne State College. He will be in charge of perimeter
players, tape exchange, scouting and all aspects of recruiting.
Monaghan is a 2006 graduate of Lewis University in Illinois,
where he played shooting guard for the Flyers from 2004-06.
He served as team captain in the 2005-06 season. Before playing
at Lewis, Monaghan attended Harper Junior College in Illinois
for two seasons, earning First Team All-Region honors both
years and selected Third Team NJCAA All-American in 2003-04.
Pat is a native of Chicago, Illinois and attended Fremd High
School, where he was a two-year starter in boys basketball.
He is pursuing a masters degree in organizational management
with a concentration on sport management at Wayne State College
and resides in Wayne.
