2006: Started all 11 games at wide
receiver as a true freshman. . . Had a spectacular freshman
season leading the team in receptions (44), receiving
yards (693), touchdowns (7) and receiving yards per
game (63.0, 7th in NSIC). . . Had a season-high eight
catches for 127 yards including two touchdowns against
Bemidji State on 10-14-06. Named to the
NSIC honorable mention team as a wide receiver.
High School: A four-sport star at
Storm Lake HS will play football and baseball at Wayne
State College. . . In football, caught 64 passes for
782 yards with four touchdowns in seven games and played
quarterback the other two games. . . Listed third all-time
in Iowa high school history with 153 receptions. . .
Won three medals as a junior at the Iowa State Track
Meet in 2005, fourth in the 110 hurdles (14.8), sixth
in the 400 hurdles (54.9) and sixth in the high jump
at 6’3”. . . In baseball as a junior, earned
Third Team All-State honors as a pitcher, going 9-2
with a 1.27 ERA. . . First Team Unanimous All-Conference
selection in baseball as a sophomore and junior. . .
In basketball, was Second Team All-Conference and led
team in three pointers, steals and assists
