2006: Started all 11 games at defensive back for the Wildcats....was fourth on the team in total tackles with 61 (28 solo, 33 assisted tackles)....had two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, two interceptions and three pass breakups.....had season-high nine tackles vs. Bemidji State on 10-14-06...also had nine kickoff returns for 197 yards (21.9 avg) with long return of 42 yards.
2005: Started all 11 games as a junior defensive back...Led the team and was second in the NSIC with five interceptions...Had two interception returns for touchdowns; one against Missouri-Rolla (9-10-05) of 55 yards and the other against Southwest Minnesota State (10-15-05) of 78 yards.
Before WSC: Played two years at Santa Rosa Community College, helped team to 11-0 record in 2003 and 7-4 mark in 2004...Tied school record with three interceptions in one game.

Concordia-St. Paul topped #15 Wayne State 10-6 Sunday afternoon in the NSIC Baseball Tournament championship game. The 40-11 Wildcats await word from the NCAA on a at-large berth to the NCAA Tournament. Official pairings are to be released Sunday evening by the NCAA.
Nate Preston won three events to lead the WSC men to a third straight NSIC outdoor track and field championship Saturday in Wayne. The Wildcats scored 164 points to nip second place Mary (156.5) for the team title. Brett Suckstorf won two events (hammer throw and discus) for WSC.
The WSC women's track and field team finished in third place with 106 points at the NSIC Championships in Wayne. Katie Wilson won two events (hammer throw and discus) and took second in the shot put to lead the Wildcats.
The NSIC Office announced Saturday that the NSIC Baseball Tournament has been shortened to a single-elimination tournament with Wayne State and Concordia-St. Paul (the last two undefeated teams in the tournament) playing Sunday at 1 p.m. in Wayne and the winner earning the NSIC Tournament Title and the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
Nick Schumacher struck out a career-high 14 batters in a complete game win to lead #15 Wayne State to a 9-1 victory over Southwest Minnesota State at the NSIC Baseball Tournament in Wayne. The 40-10 Wildcats will play in the winner's bracket final Saturday at 10 a.m. against either Bemidji State or Concordia-St. Paul.
Seven WSC baseball players were named to the 2008 NSIC All-Conference Baseball Team announced Thursday afternoon. Nick Schumacher was named the NSIC Pitcher of the Year, Marc Manganaro earned the NSIC Co-Player of the Year while Nick Bidroski was selected the NSIC Co-Freshmen of the Year.
