#7 - Josh Peterson 6-2, 200 - Senior Wide Receiver Mound City, Mo.(Missouri Western) 2006: Started at wide receiver all 11 games for the 'Cats. . . Was the second leading receiver on the team with 26 receptions for 435 yards and four touchdowns. . . Led the team with a 16.7 yards per catch average and had the longest catch from scrimmage of 63 yards. . . Had a season-high 91 yards on four catches, including a 63 yard touchdown catch against Bemidji State on 10-14-06.
2005: Had strong finish to the 2005 season for WSC at wide receiver and punt returner. Second leading receiver on the team with 25 catches for 422 yards (16.9 avg.) and two touchdowns. Had 80-yard touchdown reception vs. Winona State on 10-29-05, finishing game with five catches for 144 yards to earn Egg Bowl MVP honors for Wayne State. Also had five catches for 92 yards in season-ending 38-28 win over Bemidji State at the Metrodome Classic. As a punt returner, led WSC with 23 returns for 178 yards (7.7 average), ranking fifth in the NSIC in punt return average.
2004: Dual threat at wide receiver and punt returner for the 'Cats. Was fourth-leading receiver for WSC with 22 catches for 360 yards with three touchdowns and had 12 punt returns for 142 yards, averaging 11.8 yards per return to finish second in the NSIC. Had season-best 72 yard punt return at Panhandle State on 9-18-04.

Concordia-St. Paul topped #15 Wayne State 10-6 Sunday afternoon in the NSIC Baseball Tournament championship game. The 40-11 Wildcats await word from the NCAA on a at-large berth to the NCAA Tournament. Official pairings are to be released Sunday evening by the NCAA.
Nate Preston won three events to lead the WSC men to a third straight NSIC outdoor track and field championship Saturday in Wayne. The Wildcats scored 164 points to nip second place Mary (156.5) for the team title. Brett Suckstorf won two events (hammer throw and discus) for WSC.
The WSC women's track and field team finished in third place with 106 points at the NSIC Championships in Wayne. Katie Wilson won two events (hammer throw and discus) and took second in the shot put to lead the Wildcats.
The NSIC Office announced Saturday that the NSIC Baseball Tournament has been shortened to a single-elimination tournament with Wayne State and Concordia-St. Paul (the last two undefeated teams in the tournament) playing Sunday at 1 p.m. in Wayne and the winner earning the NSIC Tournament Title and the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
Nick Schumacher struck out a career-high 14 batters in a complete game win to lead #15 Wayne State to a 9-1 victory over Southwest Minnesota State at the NSIC Baseball Tournament in Wayne. The 40-10 Wildcats will play in the winner's bracket final Saturday at 10 a.m. against either Bemidji State or Concordia-St. Paul.
Seven WSC baseball players were named to the 2008 NSIC All-Conference Baseball Team announced Thursday afternoon. Nick Schumacher was named the NSIC Pitcher of the Year, Marc Manganaro earned the NSIC Co-Player of the Year while Nick Bidroski was selected the NSIC Co-Freshmen of the Year.
