Denver Alumni Celebration
Saturday, November 20, 2004
Nebraska Governor Mike Johanns in conjunction with the Nebraska
Department of Economic Development sponsored a one-day event
at the Adam's Mark Hotel in downtown Denver. The event included
a job/career fair open to anyone. This "reunion" was a way to ask alums of Nebraska colleges to consider coming
home to Nebraska. Deb Lundahl and Phyllis Conner were in Denver
and represented WSC at the career fair. WSC was among the
Nebraska colleges that hosted a receptions prior to the dinner.
Juli Burney (WSC '77) served as emcee for the Alumni Celebration
Dinner.
