Homecoming 2002

A well-received new feature was added to the
Friday evening Dinner/Dance with the presentation of awards
to honor dedicated and deserving educators from each of our
four schools.
Dr. Barb Black representing the School of Education and
Counseling, recipient Gerald Meyer; Dr. Vaughn Benson representing
the School of Business and Technology, recipient Linda Briese
Jacobi; Dr. Steve Alston representing the School of Natural
and Social Sciences, recipient Terri Heitzman Jelinek; and
Cheri Helmer-Riensche the recipient from the School of Arts
and Humanities receiving her award from Dr. James O'Donnell.

the Wayne State College Hall of Fame
during the Hall of Fame Banquet held Saturday evening in the
Frey Conference Suite.

Football Team
Members of the '93 team introduced during half time activities
on Saturday were, back row, l-r: Coach Jeff Holdsworth, Coach
Rick Moorman, Scott Eisenhauer, Jon Adkisson, Mick Verzani,
Mike Wilson, Brian Thompson, Marcus Rankin, Bernie Paden and
William Federson.

and Bernie Muller. The team was inducted into the Hall of
Fame at the banquet on Saturday evening.
