Tom '77 and Carol '78 (Sobotka) Becker, Wakefield, Neb.:
"My husband and I met at WSC; we were introduced through
a mutual friend. We were married on December 31, 1977. For
seven years we lived in Wahoo, while Tom taught Math and PE
in Mead, NE. The next sixteen years were spent in Ogallala,
NE. Tom taught secondary Math and I was a Media Specialist
in the middle school and then in the high school. We are just
completing our first year of a return to Nebraska. Tom just
finished his first year as the secondary principal at Emerson-Hubbard
Community School; he will continue in that position. In August
I will join the Ponca Public School System as the K-12 Media
Specialist."
