Thomas '79 and Valerie '78 (Kracht) Finley, Denison, Iowa:
"My husband and I met our freshman year (1975) in Dr.
Bob Johnson's speech class. The class was divided into several
groups to debate important issues. Tom and I found ourselves
in the same group discussing capital punishment. After spending
many hours together researching the topic, a friendship was
formed. We married our senior year at Wayne State on August
27, 1977 and have been married for 24 years."
