Richard '61 and Karen (Britton) Pound '61, Jefferson,
Iowa:
"I graduated from Denison High School and Dick from
Scranton High School… We were both in Minnie Rice's freshman
comp. class. In the spring of 1958, Dick stopped me after
class and introduced himself to me and said to call him at
Morey Hall if I ever needed a ride home because he went through
Denison on his way home to Scranton. FATE?? The rest is history.
I've been riding with him ever since!! We celebrated our 40th
wedding anniversary Aug. 28, 2000. I met my mate at Wayne
State in '58. Life's been great!!"
