"Met My Mate at WSC" Directory
Kevin '79 and Kim (Dunham) Regan, Le Mars, Iowa:
"In the fall of 1978, I was a freshman at WSC. There
was a cute guy in my morning Sociology class that was always
late. I was interested in meeting him until I found out he
was a senior. Surely he wouldn't be interested in a lowly
freshman! A couple of months later, I ran into him at Valley
Squire where he was having a very 'tipsy' time! We talked
on and off all evening. A couple of days later, he came to
my dorm and brought all three of his housemates to ask me
out to a movie for Saturday night. I was surprised he even
remembered me. We went to see Animal House. He got his car
stuck in the middle of the road in front of the theatre and
an ex-girlfriend of his pushed us out. We were married ten
months later and that was nearly 22 years ago. We've had three
great kids, 17, 15, and 9. We even visited WSC once and 'borrowed'
the BEER sign off Valley Squire!! And, yes, he is still always
late!"
