Dr. Vance '71 and Peggy '73 (Howe) Wolverton, Brea, Calif.:
"Both Peggy and I majored in music, and we met while
participating in the Wildcat Marching Band under the direction
of Dr. Ray Kelton. I served as a drum major of the band throughout
my undergraduate years (1967-1971), and Peggy joined the band
as a member of the drum section in my senior year. The cute
new drummer caught my eye immediately and, as they say, 'the
rest is history.' We will celebrate our 28th anniversary in
May 2002!!"
