Delmer and Martha '35 (Frerichs) Fitch, Mercer Island,
Wash.:
"The stair-steps leading from the second to the first
floor of the Administration Building at Wayne State Teacher's
College in January 1934, was the location of an important
event. Delmer Fitch asked Martha Frerichs for a date. After
a courtship of a couple of years, they entered into marriage,
which lasted 65 years. Delmer left to be with the Lord in
February 2000. Martha continues to live with her memories."
