Brent '01 and Jana '00 (Conard) Litz, Rapid City, S.D.:
"Our junior year of college, we had three classes together
in one semester, Reading and Writing in Secondary Schools,
Ethics and Values, and Educational Psychology. With encouragement
from Dr. Frank Adams, we started dating. We are both education
majors so we had a lot in common and enjoyed each other's
company."
"We were married on June 3, 2000, in Spencer, Iowa. Brent
played football for Wayne State College and is a Social Science/Education
major. Jana is a Family and Consumer Science/Education major."
Joseph Douglas Litz was born on December 6, 2000 at Providence
Medical Hospital in Wayne. Shortly after Jana graduated from
Wayne State College on December 15, 2000. Brent graduated
in December of 2001. Jana landed her first teaching job in
Rapid City, SD, at South Middle School. Brent will be completing
his student teaching at Stevens High School. Without Wayne
State College, we wouldn't have met and fulfilled both of
our life dreams!!"
