2012 Fred G. Dale Planetarium Hosts Record Number of Visitors
Elementary school students were among the thousands of area residents who visited Wayne State’s Fred G. Dale Planetarium this past academic year. Nearly 5,300 guests attended the variety of presentations led by Dr. Todd Young. The fall program will be all about dispelling the myth that the Mayan calendar predicts the end of the world on Dec. 21, 2012. Featured will be two new full dome shows: “2012 - The End of the World? NOT!” and “Tales of the Mayan Skies”.
