Wildcats Online Instructions

Welcome Students!

This document contains instructions to help you search for courses when using WildcatsOnline. It will also cover the steps to enroll in a course, drop a course, or swap a course.  Please note:  The add/drop option in WildcatsOnline is only available through the first week of the regular semesters or the first two days of each summer session.

"Drops" after the add/drop period become "W" grades and remain on the transcript. No tuition will be refunded.

How To Browse the Course Catalog for Classes Using Wildcats Online:

  1. Go to eCampus at https://ecampus.wsc.edu/ and log in with your network user id and password.
  2. Click Online Resources > WildcatsOnline > Self Service > Class Search/Browse Catalog > Browse Course Catalog.
  3. For the “Select Institution” drop-down menu, select “Wayne State College”.
  4. Click on the “change” button.
  5. Click on the first letter of the prefix for courses you are interested in browsing. (For example, click on “B” then click on “BUS-Business” to bring up all the numbers and titles of all courses offered in Business.)
  6. From the resulting list, click on a particular course about which you want to learn more. (For example click on “240” or ACCOUNTING I” to learn a little more about WSC’s Accounting I course.)
  7. Click on the “view class sections” button to bring up options for days, times, and teachers of sections of the class. (Be sure the, “Terms Offered” is set to “Fall 2012”.
  8. Note the 5-digit number in parentheses in blue print for any course you might like to take. This number will come in handy later. (For example, the second section of Accounting I is number 11434) (See it in parentheses in blue print in the upper left part of the course information?)
  9. Scroll either up or down to get an opportunity to click on the words “Return to Browse Course Catalog”.
  10. Another similar option available is the “Class Search” option which you can access by clicking on these words over in the left-hand margin of the screen. Specify Wayne State College as the Institution and “Fall 2012” as the Term and define your search by course subject (example, Business), course number (3-digit example, 240), and course career (example, undergraduate) and then click “Search”. There is also an option to narrow your search through use of “Additional Search Criteria”.
  11. There are always “Home” or “Sign Out” options to click on at the top of the screen to close these screens when you want to exit this part of the system.
