Plannng: "What
Can I Do With A Major In...?"
What are my options for majors in Physical
Sciences Pre-Professional Programs?
Students
wishing to pursue a pre-professional program in the Physical
Sciences are encouraged to seek a BA/BS degree in an appropriate
major prior to entering a professional program. This allows
for more maturity and a stronger knowledge base, as well
as keeping the student moving toward his or her goal while
applying for a competitive position in a program. Faculty
advisors are an excellent resource for planning and helping
to establish goals. Options for majors are:
| Architecture
|
Engineering
|
| Oceanography
|
Optometry
|
Nuclear
Medicine Technology |
Pharmacy |
| Biological
Systems Engineering
|
Cardiovascular/Int Tech
|
Computer Tech/Magnetic Res
