| Trends in Transfer Students |
Wayne State College enrolls more transfer students in the fall semester. |
While applicant numbers vary per semester, WSC typically enrolls about 2/3 of transfer students who apply. |
Most Community College transfers come from: Northeast Community College, Central Community College, Metropolitan Community College, and Western Iowa Tech. |
The most common majors found in transfer applicants are: Education, Business, Criminal Justice, Psychology, Sport Management, and Undeclared. |
| Recent Updates in the Transfer Process |
Transfer students from an accredited Nebraska Community College no longer have to pay our $30 application processing fee. |
Transfer students with an A.A. or A.S. degree from an accredited Nebraska Community College may see some General Education course requirements waived as they transfer in. If the student’s Associate degree covers courses similar to the pre-requisites for their chosen major at WSC, the student may begin the core classes for their major by enrolling in the EPS 300-Educational Perspectives Course. |
Consult our transfer agreements to help you choose classes at your current institution that may easily transfer to WSC. |
