Favorite thing about WSC: The atmosphere. At WSC you really have the combination of the small college professor/staff attention and all the activities you would find at a large major university.

 

Favorite spot on campus: Tunka Oyate or, the common name, Wayne State Rocks, is my favorite place on campus. Tunka Oyate comes from the Lakota language, meaning, "pathway or connection to earth and man's beginnings", I can't think of anything better to describe the transformation that college has on ones life. Can you?

 

College search advice: Visit each college you have selected, preferably while classes are in session. There is no better way to know if you can see yourself at that college unless you have visited.

 

Personal Information: I am the proud owner of a black lab mix, Babe.

 

Hometown: Platte Center, Nebraska, although since I graduated from high school I have lived in many different locations.
