Ross Lafleur

Favorite thing about WSC: I like the friendly campus atmosphere and especially the awesome education program. It has opened the door to many opportunities for me.

Favorite spot on campus: Ley Theatre. It has old-world charm and it creates a wonderful environment for learning and exploring; it is one of the hidden gems of Wayne State. Some play productions, music concerts, and introduction classes are taught in this space.

College search advice: Keep an open mind about your “ideal” college going to a campus for a visit is key. Make sure the school has your intended major. Talk with current college students about advice about roommates, adjusting to campus life or any other issues you would like answered!

Major: Spanish and Language Arts Education

Hobbies: Traveling, photography, art, intramurals, hanging out with friends, reading, etc.

Fun Fact: I traveled to San Jose, Costa Rica through a study abroad program from WSC. I lived there for a month and traveled with about 25 other WSC students and two professors.
