Meet WSC Students

Suzi Havelka

"WSC has a really good program for education majors, that's why I'm here."

photo Why I chose WSC: Wayne State has a really good program for Education majors, it is affordable and far enough away from home, but close enough to go home. The friendly campus also helped.

Favorite spot on campus: My favorite place on campus is the Willow Bowl. It’s so open and peaceful.

My piece of advice for incoming freshmen: Once you’re on campus, meet the people in your dorms. Leave your door open to meet more people. And, visit Jitters!

On surviving your freshmen year: Ask for help. Don’t be scared; the professors are nice! Definitely meet as many people as you can.
